    power windows not working

my power windows on my '95 mazda protege are not working

the last time they stopped working i took off the door panel and secured the electrical plug to the power windows controls and they worked again.

however, this time, i have secured all the plugs on all four doors and the windows still aren't working.

i believe the power windows and the interior lights are on the same fuse, and the interior lights work, so i dont think its a blown fuse.

    any ideas?

someone suggested to me that it might be the relays, but i have no idea what those are..

help is very very much appreciated

If all the windows don't work, it can be that the switch on your driver's door panel has fried. It controls all the windows. If it goes, they all go.
