After months of procrastination i have finally set to work on the BH.
I re-installed the MS under the radio and going to make a nicer aluminum plate
to mount the squirt and serial port,LED and switch for the LC1.
I have been squirreling away parts for a BP turbo build to transplant but at my current rate of progress it wont happen,soooooo im going to carry on and complete the zm head to install on the existing z5 block and boost that beeotch.

I went to the junkyard looking for a cheap tire. They didn't have it. I picked up a clippy thing for my rear deck because I lost it when I took it out last time. I also grabbed a plastic piece for under the rear driver's side. It's even beige like the rest of the interior. I took out the rubber hose part between my air box and throttle body to inspect the tears in the perforated bendy section. It was way worse than I thought. I duct taped the thing. If only I could one of those at the junkyard, but I've been for it twice and they're all out.

I have owned this 98 about a year now. I have never been able to get the hose for 97/98 model. I have gotten 95/96 ones in brand new condition at the junkyard and paid $3.86 for them. I don't want to plug the hole and stuff like that on the 95/96 one. My cousin came to visit to do business and he asked me to rent him the car for a week. I had another car to use. I told him all he had to pay was to go buy a brand new Air Intake Hose for my car at the dealership. He agreed and went and bought one. It cost $75 !!!!!!!!!!!
Now you understand why they are called stealerships. They have cheaper ones for other cars but that's what they charge for that one. I have also gone several times and to several junkyards looking for an already-black passenger side fender to replaced my damaged one so I don't have to have one of another color painted. No luck in a year. Check your yards for me. It has to be in excellent condition because the rest of the car looks great.

Drove it to work, then to a downtown area to hang with wife and freinds, and then home...oh, put another quart of oil in it....it keeps leaking like the Exxon Valdez.

I'g going to deal with it till the BP is done. Then mo more worries. And that is what I did to my proty yesterday, and probably today also.

]Manny I'll keep a lookout for you. I think right now all I've seen is my color at the yards. Lucky me if I had some money! I know all about "stealerships" I took the wife's car to the ford dealer and they quoted me 500 to replace a crash sensor. I did it for free dollars, just had to stick the thing down my pants >

Today I got the front tires replaced, no more donut. I got the 50 dollar cheapies... Drove the thing for the first time since I duct taped it up, MUCH BETTER!!! The thing was awful for the past couple weeks. I really didn't expect so much of a difference. Changed the corner bulbs to orange. Not really what I want but I'm pretty sure it needs to be orange here in MA. anyways, they needed changed the one was on it's last legs. Now that the clouds are clearing up, time to give her a wash!

Edit: Ok here's a couple pics after the orange bulbs went in and the wash. Needs a good waxing for sure. Now I need to start on getting clear tail lights. Gotta show off the bumper sticker though.

Changed spark plugs. checked the gap on the old ones, they were 0.056 as opposed to 0.044. >.< guess I should have looked before this. I had some rough idle going on but it's way smoother now.

i repainted all the trim on the car including door handles OEM black. I also installed eyelids which i purchased for a 323 (15.00 shipped) and did a little cutting/sanding/painting to make them fit. Fairly satisfied, not as flush as id like though. Pics soon enough.

Changed my ignition wires. woot. I really need to make some money so I can do fun things to the car. It IS running better though. Although I'm wondering if I should have just let the thing run down and eventually blow up, so I can get a BP.

On the straight and narrow

I finally got round to doing an alignment on it since the Koni install.
This car is pretty decent underneath for the year so rear toe adjustment was still possible (lol if youve ever tried to line up a car with seized rear adjusters)
This pic is the printout from our rack.
I had to take the left camber plate all the way over to the max
to get it decent.
The car drives much better now.
The jackazz who owned it before me installed drop springs and drove on it long enough without an alignment to PHUCK the tires so i guess i need new skinnies but they are low priority at this time.
When i bought the car ,i went through the receipts and noticed a new RT Rear wheel bearing installed.The Phucking tire is so feathered i dunno how the tech missed it.Makes me wonder how many wheel bearings get sold for bad tires.RANT sorry.
