I changed my rims on my Protege today. The previous ones were steel with winter tires, so they had to go. I picked the new ones up for $200 from my cousin, since he is parting out his Acura Integra due to many issues, plus he bought a Toyota Celica GT yesterday. It's amazing what a set of rims can do to the appearance of a car.

Does anyone know what brand the rims are? all I can find on them is an M and the wheel size, 15x6JJ 45.

Those look like 3rd gen Acura Integra wheels, painted black.

...Replacing the mother f****** Oil pan gasket tonight! shes leaking at 108k miles, and the original one I scraped off, went to oreilly, and found that they ordered the wrong part number. Now, I used a thousand pounds of silicone and it wants to seep through a little again...in the same spot.

Hopefully I can do a drain and fill on the tranny tonight too....

I just got my new oil pan in the mail today. Also got some new tie rod ends. Waiting for a "down pipe" I ordered and a valve cover gasket. Need to get an oil pan gasket too...

Friday night, replaced rear main, saturday morning got the trans bolted up and everything together, then it blew up on me. Sunday morning, hit the Junkyard to find a 98 proto with a newer-rebuilt transmission, paid $160, put it in, it drives perfect.

                      Now to fix the cosmetics....

Yesterday, fixed busted headlight. Today, removed LED strips, re-aimed headlights and somewhat straightened out my left front fender. Still a little more work to go. If I can't get it right, then I hope a local junkyard still has the 1998 DX I got the replacement headlight from so I can steal the fender and maybe the hood, too.
