    Help needed with transmission removal

First time posting on the forum; I have 1998 Protege with manual transmission, that needs new clutch. I think I am stuck with one bolt, that is next to the rear engine mount (white arrow). I can't figure out how to take it out, as the bolt head is obstructed with a flange. Is there any special way to take it out? Does it need to come out at all? Thank you very much.

i think if you take that mount off you can get to it... i haven't made it that far, its to cold to work right now i can tell you 2morrow if your still stuck here

EDIT: well i dunno if i'm gunna be able to get mine out... i've had em out before but it was on a 2 post lift which made it really easy, i do remember there was a really hard to see bolt on the top and it was a pita to get to w/ all the hoses and stuff in the way

Class mate 2: no way, that truck was way to big to be a 1 ton...
