Excel is a really good program to know, I use it for most of my labs, and i don't know what kind of schooling your learning this for but in engineering its integral.

    Anyway, welcome to the board.

I envy you, man. You have a BP AND a 5-speed. I am in the early stages of swapping my 1.5L engine with the BP (1.8L), so hopefully sooner than later I'll be up there with you (in the 16's). See you around. BTW, if you wanna see pics of my car click here.

no sunroof either... sucks... I always had a sunroof in all of my cars...

I'd really like to change things on this car, but here in Québec, if you don't have a honda or VW, people look at you strange... "Why the hell did you modify a Protegé???"... it would be easier to resell it later if I keep it stock... what do you guys think... because there is one thing about this car... damn it's fast!!! but still not fast enough, especially 0-100km/h (9.7s), 1/4 mile (16.5s) and 80-120km/h (6.7s)...

my old car was in low 15s upper 14s... ah, c'est la vie!!!

you could always buy one thats already moded and import it to quebec. one thats say is over 250 hp at the crank (1/4 mile ~13.5s), already JDM styled and has 3 JL audio w6 10"'s pushed by a 1000w mono block.

I hear the Canadian dollor is strong now. =)

yes. i have a family and need to have a more "family orientated" car. can't be racing around town with an 18 month old in the car, and you know the honda boys will want to see what it can do. i know theres an enthuiest out there that will definitely take advantage of the car like it wants to be.

Until its sold, i'll be adding new head, lifters, and Corksport cams. I'll be dynoing it on the 20th of March. Derrick is estamating about 270-80 hp.

Visually, I just added the Mazdaspeed CF rearview mirror and am having my miata valve cover done gunmetal with a polished sparkplug cover.

                      PM me for any questions
