I've got a 1995 1.5l Protege. The other day, the charge light came on. Later that night, the car died. All the belts were intact and I've got a newer battery. I figured it was the alternator. Well, I've got the alternator disconnected and unbolted, but I can't get it out of the engine bay, not even close. I've searched the web and found nothing for my exact car. The 1.8l engine is much eaasier. I got the Haynes manual which says nothing about my car. Anybody else have this problem?
