    I'd rather have a lower stance than a slightly more comfortable ride. That pretty much went out the window with coilovers.

      welll my stance pisses me off; i think i'm going to have to switch to coilovers.
      if u want to measure by finger gap

      in the front i have less than a finger between the tire and the fender.

      and in the rear about a finger's worth of tire is up inside the fender.

      from the side and the rear; the car looks slammed.
      from the front because of the bumper height.. it still looks like a monster truck.

        Yeah, that bothered me too. It's worse with the JDM bumper. I really need a front lip and some side skirts.

        If you're as low as you say you are though, you can't go much lower in the rear without rubbing. Even with very modest offsets, I was rubbing in the rear at a bit less than this height.

          195.55.15'z for the winter.. u can't even fit a penny without rolled fenders between the tire and the fender.. but it doesn't rub even with a carload;

          my 17z only rub if i hit a bump and have some1 in the backseat.

            That's not possible, you're underestimating how much room you have, and overestimating how low you are.

              this is when i just put on my winter tires;
              with 195/55/15

              and this is before i put in my ~60lbs worth of car audio in the trunk;
              soo its about down to where u almost can't see the tire threads nEmore;

                I guess my old car was lower than I thought in the rear. I had rub marks in the inner well, a few inches inboard where the undercoating was worn off down to bare shiny metal by my 205/50-15s, and I rubbed a lot, even without passengers.

                With the lower offset 16s, 1 passenger in the front was enough to increase rubbing to nearly constant.

                  lowering???

                  looking for some lowering_____. I dont know what i want all i know is i dont want to spend 2k dollars for coilovers. I see people talking about just getting lowering struts and lowering springs. My rear end does need new struts so thats why im taking this opportunity to lower it. Any suggestions on some reliable sites and some suggestions?

                          Yes i lowered my car and got all new struts and they have the tabs for the sway bar links, but my big concern is what about the sway bar bushings on the frame is there all ready bolt holes for them
