im gonna get 4 of those...

    60 bucks.

and i'll still have money for gas and to pay a bill this week.

i can then rent the spring clamper thing from autozone and put them on. should work decently until i get some real springs, and i won't have to cut anything, just compress, clamp, screw.

      i found them 12 bucks a pair.

so i'd need 4 pairs = 48 dollars free shipping

we have coil springs on all 4 wheels right?

pics are for reference only. you don't need spring compressors when installing coilovers, only when removing the oem spring from the strut body.

pics only show one spring compressor on one side. when using them, there should be two spring compressors on each side of the spring.

its a good idea to use an air ratchet to speed things up. doing it manually takes a long time and can get a little tiring.

Why waste your money when you only need like 70 bucks or more to get something better than those clamps? You're only wasting money. Don't half-ass the job thinking it will last until you have money. Because with the plans you have, you won't have money in time. And you're still rollling on stock wheels right? What's the use of new springs?

Here check these out. They are not the sportiest but definately better than spring clamps and not too expensive.
