The house doesn't need anything right away... eventually some roof work and a few things I want to do... gotta furnish it and get situated, being a first time home owner/first time on my own.

I still hope to get the KL done this year. Anything can happen. lol

As the house deal hovers over my head, with the motivation of a couple of friends we got more done on the car this weekend.

Separated the interior harness from the main harness, labeling the terminals we removed... Reinstalled it and installed the V6 harness. Gotta do more splicing and repinning. Fun? Hell no. lol Absolutely daunting. We're getting there though... my friend is awesome at wiring, has made many harnesses/wired up swaps including his own '01 Integra Type R that we put a '03 CL Type S 3.2L V6 in. Yeah, my KL won't be that fast. :/

Also flipped around the strut tower bar mounts so the bar is effectively backwards now, putting the little hump right over the top part of the Millenia intake manifold - spaced it up on the towers and the bar itself and it clears perfectly. Modded removed brackets from random stuff to remount the cruise control actuator and a few other bits.

Reinstalled the driver's seat and rear seat after putting the harness back in. Tightened down the shifter assembly. Adjusted the tie-rods so the car actually wants to roll now. lol Lots of little stuff. Made a list of what I still need.

Making progress for sure! Might snap some pics tomorrow while I'm at work. For now here's a pic of my P5s in the shop together. Used P5-B to compare some connectors and stuff. lol

I'm just hoping it works. lol I understand why the other guy ran 2 ECUs now... trying to make 1 harness from 2 is quite the task.

This week I'm gonna try to get a radiator and the missing sensors I need... also need a Millenia throttle cable - couldn't get the P5 one mounted correctly but did get it working - installed 2 long 10mms into the intake manifold where the cable bracket normally is and the cable was held behind it, but I was told that this wasn't safe to drive with. :p

ya lol, I'm sure it'll work man.

What were you having to splice in though? Or was it just different plug connectors you were finding.

Well the 626 harness is more of a stand-alone harness... when it gets through the firewall it has 2 connectors for the interior and that's it whereas the Protege's harness is wired straight back to the gas tank. So we had to separate that from the ECU connector and a few random wires to their various connectors - cruise control, fuse box, diagnostics connector, etc... then we removed the fuse box connector from the P5 harness and plugged/spliced the pins from the 626 harness to it so it plugs in. Have to do the same for the bottom of the fuse box.

Such a mess I don't even want to think about it right now. lol

House situation is going well. Had it inspected 2 Mondays ago, they agreed to fix things cited on the gas co. and STL County inspections as well as knock $500 off closing costs. They've already replaced the furnace and are working on the other things cited. Closing date is still May 4th.

Here's a few pics of the car I just took:
