minor build update:

your guna love my nuts->

i cant believe how light they are compared to the oem nuts i have always used. even compared to the "tuner" lugs that came with my bronze rims.

they were half the price of those guerilla nuts so hopefully they are not junk.

i cant read jdm so i cant read what the box says, but they are light, they fit my rims and they were inexpensive so ima try em out

got the ms shadow dash hooked up today.

it uses bluetooth to connect my megasquirt to my phone or my tablet. it is awsome. probably the coolest setup i have ever played with. config is as easy as pairing any bluetooth device.

Everything is wireless.

I get in my car and slap either my android phone or my android tablet into mount behind steering wheel.

Launch the app, start the car and it goes. Refresh rate is really good and smooth.

GPS speed data is accurate. Everything works even better than I thought it would.

Then when I pull over and pop my hood I pull out the tablet and can have it right there in the engine bay with me while im making adjustments.

It datalogs my runs (including GPS data).

It uses my phone built in G meter and I can see how hard I am pushing the car.

It is a free app and I am still mind boggled that it works this good.

All I can say is A+

here is a comparison of the shadow dash running on my crappy phone with my analog tach and digital boost controller. its not laggy at all imo. ill take on of my tablet sometime next week showing the HUD on the windshield at night. its pretty cool.

Be sure to check the torque on the lug nuts often... I've had a few buddies who have had problems with lightweight nuts, because of the difference in properties of the two metals with regards to heat and expansion.

Also that Bluetooth connection of devices to ecu is awesome!

ill have a little fun with some video editing and see if i can put the real time log up running on the bottom of the screen to show the digital and analog displays vs the datalog in real time. i would like to compare it to the stock tach as well but i still havent gotten around to hooking that up
