but it is that easy. you look at the pin out on the ecu and wire up the ones that go to the obd2 16 pin connecter. its only a couple owires. and you can mount it near the ecu

Ya that's messed up man, sounds like it might just be going in to safe/limp mode for some reason...I hope you can figure out the issue! Sounds like wiring in the diagnostics port is the best way to start lol see if it tells you anything, which it probably will-Jack

only the 93-97 probe/mx6/626 one sucks. thats just because they use the Vaf based junk. JUST like the BP's. the Maf ran KL/KJ's are a totally different thing, and work great. thats why us OBD2 guys do maf conversions now.Originally posted by FE3-323 View Post

So today me and jack (Mazda_Powered) went to the junkyard, and i got a set of Milly S injectors (for the festiva) a spare KJ ECU, a diagnostics port to wire into the KJ harness and a front pass. ABS sensor
Now hopefully i can figure out what the hell is going on with the swap
