Jack - its just a 4cyl FWD, its rated for 40mpg, although i'm only expecting 30-35, but its still much much better then the jeep lol

Darren - most of the guys on the festiva forum are saying the same type of things lol people must think that i can't leave things alone under the hood or something, i wonder why buwahaha lol..... but seriously, i do not plan on any major mods to the escape, mainly minor things like a trailer hitch, maybe a CAI, maybe subwoofers, not entirely sure yet but its jsut the grocery getter lol


Anyway, for the P5 i'm planning on spending some time on it again tomorrow, i'm hoping to get the Y-pipe connected to the rest of the exhaust

and get it to idle properly........ the other night when i got it to fire a bit, i supplied basically the entire KJ harness power off of one wire from the P5, (it was only a quick job simply to hear it fire up) so i'm guessing the power supply was way too small which is why is did not idle, so i will be giving it a proper power supply and see how it idles afterwards lol

I always thought a KLDE swap would be pretty sick in a BHA.

GL with that one... the oil cap will be completely under the rad support

^^I highly doubt a BHA's engine bay is smaller then my festiva's, and the oil cap on the KL in my festiva is only slightly covered by the rad support, so i think its safe to say a KL would fit nicely in a BHA compared to my festiva

the radiator actually sits in front of the support on those cars... and mx3 crossmember doesnt bolt up.. ive looked at a few at the yard and contemplated it, just because the cars can look good and would only consider it if i could KL swap it... and was detered by the way the engine bay is set up

not saying it cant be done but it doesnt look like a bolt in affair

Pile - rad placement isnt really a major concern to me, rad location can be changed somewhat to accomodate larger engines lol but i do believe that it would not be a bolt in swap, my point was that the oil cap would not have to be covered by the rad support like the way it is on my festiva, i'm sure the BHA's engine bay is bigger then that lol so with enough persuasion (<--SP?) it could be made to fit quite nicely
