    serisouly wtf!!!!

    i have the same problem again ... stalling dropping rev's throwing a CEL .... the MAF sensor problem on the 1.6l .... and i already had this fixed by mazda wtf else could cause this to happen i have been trying everything i can for 3 days and still no god damn luck .... i cant wait to finish this swap ... thanks for the help guys.

      yeah i still need a tranny and everything else ... i have the engine ... negatize is a lot farther into it than i am ... but this doesnt help me make it to school tonight or ya know anywhere else ... this car is useless. i need a header too ... it didnt come with one

              hmmmmmmmmm i dunno, is your car a stick or an auto???? i have no idea on price, but i cant iagine it could be too much, lol their isnt much of a demand for a stock 1.6 litre, i just know mine is almost upto 100k miles, and wouldent mind having a spare to play with, and possibly build up.

                i dont know , i have seen one go for 250 ... and its an auto ... so i dont know if that presents a problem for you.

                  no but if i got a lower millage engine id want a tranny too, but thats no biggie, id imagine i could find one, let me know what you wanna do with it when you swap it.

                      Have you tried cleaning the MAF?

                      I use brake cleaner on mine and it works fine, just dont soak it. I have my old MAF for sale in the Parts for Sale section btw.
