          It won't work on the third gen Protege at all.

          The ECU needs to see specific voltages at specific points of operation. If the ECU doesn't see those voltages, it won't do anything. And by anything I mean, run at all.

          This is part of the reason why no one has gotten the Apex'i S-AFC to work.
