    fuel regulator

installed zex wet kit for 03 protege.
i want to get a fuel pressure regulator but only thing i can find is a begi.
anybody know of a good company that makes one for our cars and even a fuel pump if you think thats necessary. i just dont want to run lean.
    any help would be great.
    thanks

Or the Nismo and BEGI versions should work fine.

Why do you want a FPR for a wet kit? The kit should already supply the fuel that you need?

Look for a slightly larger fuel pump, like a stock RX7 pump or something. Don't get a huge Walbro pump.

that brings up a good point. wouldnt my fuel pressure drop more since the theres basically another line the fuel is having to go to? I just dont want it to run lean and damage the motor. or is it such a small shot (55) that i shouldnt need a fpr?
also while were at it will it burn up my rings and stuff thats what all my techs at the dealership are saying but everyone knows how techs are!there saying i shoud get forged pistens and valves and all that good stuff! lots of questions hopefully there worth asking!
      thanks again

ok well i couldnt help it and i finished the install and pressed the button.
wow, it runs amazing with the fifty five shot in it. nothing sounds off or anything. I made about four passes running from 2nd to 5th gear and everyhting sounds normal and perfect. now It's still going to be an occasional thing shooting it but man is it fun.any comments on anything or suggestions would be awesome still.
        thanks again
