Has anyone had any luck finding a high voltage alternator for 99-00 Protege ES 1.8L. I found Iraggi's on ebay, but they only carry one to fit a 90-96 1.5L & 1.8L. Does anyone know if one those might fit in a 99 1.8L with out too much modification or is it totally different.

My high output alternator fix has always been to remove my alternator and take it to a local automotive electric shop and have it rewound. Works wonders and it is almost always cheaper than buying new!
btw: the amperage is increased. not necessarily the voltage.
200+ amps are a great thing to have!
