How do I identify if I have a FS or ZM engine?

    How do I identify if I have a FS or ZM engine?

    Tried search (here ad Google), no luck. I have a 2003 Protege, 2 L, DOHC, 16 valve. The FSM refers to either a FS or ZM engine but doesn't show how to determine which I have.

    Sorry for the Newbie question.

            Additionally, the ZM is stamped on the heat shield of the exhaust manifold.

                  Well, actaully I am. I guess I'm not entering the correct key words in the search. I even tried a few other Mazda boards.

                  I was feeling yesterday I spent too much time murking and not enough working. At some point, you gotta just give up and ask the same dumb question 100 Newbies have asked before me!

                    I noticed that ZM is also stamped on top of the throttle body.
