Should I get a Tranny flush for 99 protege 1.6L

Hey guys new to the site. I have a question reqarding my Auto trans. my car has 130,590 miles on it and I am noticing the transmission sticking especially when going from Drive to Reverse (Sometimes it takes a moment for it to kick in to reverse and when I press the gas pedal it will jolt).

When driving on the highway the car runs fine and when driving in a residential area and hitting corners (slowing down then accelerating) I feel the car slip in to gear sometimes.

I have checked the Auto Dipstick and the fluid is blackish brown. Is it time for a auto tranny flush and will I notice a difference?

    Thanks

Yeah, can't hurt to give it change.
