Whats your opinion on modifying the intake manifold?

Im trying to do something that should give me some significant power at a decent cost. My friend showed me an intake manifold he is getting for his mustang that is $400. I figure, i got half the cylinders, i should get one half the cost lol

Modifying the intake manifold isn't going to gain you anything. Your friend's Mustang isn't powered by a 130hp pea shooter, so yeah, the new intake manifold will make a difference. The only way to make power with the FS-DE is boost or to lose it altogether in favour of a V6. Just make sure to do it right!

You asked for something that could give you a substantial increase in power for a decent cost, the only way to get that is boost. Even then it's a subjective matter. But anything like a cai or headers or something is a waste o' money.

I told you two damn things you could do.

Having owned a P5 in the past, I'm talking from experience.
