Mazda protege5 new JDM engine...need new intake butterfly rod P/N????

Got everything read to drop this FS9 JDM engine into my Protege5 but I noticed the VICS butterfly rod that holds the butterfly discs is broken at the end where the cam and rod hook to it. I need a new rod and the one from my old engine is from the older style intake and is not the same length and also has the button head screws instead of the countersunk screws like the new engine. I want to use this new intake because I hear this is where Mazda fixed the "ingested screws" issue. Can anyone point me in the right direct?
