Help!!! What should i do with my body kit

I found a bodykit for my 03 protege that i like (finally!!) and now I'm trying to figure out how much on average i am expected to pay to have it installed and painted, I want to paint the kit the original sand mica color the whole car came in and i don't want to get the car repainted yet cuz there is only a few minor scratches on it.

Depends on where you go and who you know. could range anywhere from 400-1,000 for fitment and paint. could be cheaper if you know someone who paints and body fab. Some kits look fine until you start to fit them then you see how much work they really need. Also they claim to be paint ready but you still have to have them sanded and primed before paint. Hope this helps somewhat. Also on a side knote the only kit that I saw that was good fitment was the Bomex on my friends 3000gt he just got the kit painted and installed it himself.

Just had a friend of mine that got a Erebuni kit. Like he said above they said they come paint ready but they had to do some work on it before they could. Also there were some problems fitting on the front. He just had the 4 pieces painted and it costed him 900 bucks it looks good but he wasnt too happy. He now hated fiberglass as well!! Just make sure you get someone that is expereinced in putting them on and painting.Good Luck Man!

What I decided to do is wait a while a few months and save up more $$$ so i can get tha job done right tha 1st time and not get it messed up. I didn't think painting body kits would be more than $400 but Thats ok.

p.s. Where is the best place to get a cold air intake, I also need a diverter valve cuz I live in Houston, Tx where it seems to rain everyday.
