2k2 P5 headlight clip

my driver side head light is missing the clip that holds it in place, i went to a mazda dealer-parts dept. and they told me i have to buy an entirely new headlight assembly .

any one know where i can get the clip?

(if possible, for now i have a freaking copper wire maze holding it in a decent poss.)

no, its kind of like a paper clip thing...

i think what he's talking about is when you put the headlight into the "bracket" where it fits, there is a little metal clip that folds over the back of the bulb and connects to the other side of the bracket, keeps the heaslight in place. anyway my friend, i have two suggections; visit a scrap yard or take a protege out for a test drive and rob it. the second ones a little shady, but it wouldnt be the first time ive heard of someone doing it.
