New sub and amp installation

Hi, my friend and i are putting some 12" subs in the back of his car.He has a 99 Pro LX. We odviously have to run wires up to the reciever. I think that we have to remove the back seats to run the wire, how? and if this isn't the best way then how did u's do it?
Ohh, and what's the best way to get the wires to the battery?

i just ran the wire around the backseats into the door trim. You know the step things yo just pull them up (they snap off) and can fit a wire under.

In my friends car he has the wires running under the carpet down the center, through the center console, and up into the radio.
I know how to take the radio out and the dash appart, how the hell do you remove the center console. I know they sell them, where's the screws,snaps,or whatevers holding it down?
