    Rally Armor Mud Flaps

So I have Rally Armor mud flaps that I want to install on my car but I am unsure of what kind of screw or bolt to use. Help? They are the Universal Mud Flaps. Thanks.

Use a self tapping screw with a large, flat head. The larger the head, the more it will resist tearing through if the flaps catch anything. It also requires no drilling as the screw is equipped with a sort of built in drill bit.

I found one with a large head and also used washers to spread the load. One other problem I run into is on the driver's side, there is a plastic plate cover what I assume as components to my fuel system. With this plate on, the rear mudflap will not work. Any ideas on what to do?
