vinyl, but not nearly as bad as the 99 lx stock wheel. Just nicer than the 99LX steering wheel and airbag, much nicer.

that's what I have now... it's nice... i never knew that the 99 model was different.
I suppose i'm stuck with vinyl until I can afford a 3-spoke MSP wheel.

the question is clear .... can i make a 3 spoke steering fit into my 99LX without any major modification or mounting kit/brackets needed???
