Got the gauge cluster from UPS just now. The tach is NOT plug and play. I will be checking my Hayne's manual in a moment. But I think I will probably just wire it up like an aftermarket tach. That should work fine.

From what I have gathered from my conversation with Spicy McHaggis is that the install is very simple. There is an open slot on the harness where I can solder in a 22g wire. Then just splice the wire into another wire of my choice. I'll make a little how-to when I finish if I get the time.
