Dont just unplug it. It will throw a cel! Instead wrap it in some kind of cloth to lower its sensitivity. The gains wont be huge, but there should be some.
What you really need to do is the timing mod. And move the sensor alittle. Then do this to pick up some power and only retard the timing on big knocks.
