    cig lighter fuse 2003.5 msp

I've searched high and low for the cig lighter fuse and can't find it for my life. Also what would cause the brake light and the abs light to come on together? I'm thinking possibly low pads.

    low brake fluid possibility.

Check brake fluid level. If it is low, you probably need pads. Make sure you don't have any leaks. Then, check the ABS fuses. Make sure you have 12V from the battery with the engine running (throw some loads on too, lights, radio, air conditioning). This will sound silly, but all your tires are currently the same size, yes? I'm pulling this from the FSM, by the way. Check for rear brake drag. Make sure the parking brake is fully disengaging. I'd start with those, as they're easy and free to do. If all those are good, you most likely have a bad speed sensor at one or more of the wheels, or (on a more outside chance) you have a bad ABS ECU. Make sure everything's still plugged in securely, check for wire damage. Is there any chance you can get the codes pulled? If not, I can try to walk you through jumping the DLC so you can manually retrieve the codes. I'd say do that after you make some cursory checks, though. It could be a simple fix.

Almost forgot. The main fuse block should be behind the driver's kick panel, just in front of the driver's door. Remove the piece of plastic between the door and the dead pedal and you should see it. Odds are the lighter fuse is in there. If not, check under the hood.

There you'll find a photo of the fuse block and how to access it. According to the Owner's Manual, the fuses in the top row are numbered 1 to 3, L to R. My guess is Fuse numbers 1 or 2 (possibly 5) may protect the cigarette lighter but just keep pulling them until you find the right one.

          Let us know.

Mine didn't work either, here's what I found- There is a fusible link on the back of the cigarette lighter socket, that's why there isn't a dedicated fuse in the fuse box, and why the FSM recommends replacing the socket if there is power and ground at the plug that connects to the back of the socket.
Disconnect the socket from the plug, check for power and ground in the plug, if good, check for continuity on the fusible link.
If the fusible link is blown, you can either replace the whole socket (recommended by the FSM), or solder a replacement fuse to the terminals that hold the fusible link (what I did)
