    Right Turn Signal/Hazard Not Working

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone ran into this problem (almost in this order):

    1) Right turn signal would stay on, but not blink once signal is activated
    2) Right turn signal would blink a few times, then stop blinking
    3) Right turn signal doesn't work at all.

-All of the right turn signal light bulbs are still good. But doesn't activate, even the right turn signal indicator in the dash.
-It never did the fast blinking, indicating bad bulb
-When using the hazard, only the left side would work.
-Relay would only click once, then stop clicking for the right turn signal
-Left turn signal would click a little longer than usual for the first click, then blink normally after

    What could be the problem?
    Thanks!

try testing the flasher control module. it is located behind the fog switches (i think you can access it from under the foot well). i dont know if there are any relays or fuses you can check.

electrical troubleshooting is outside my realm of knowledge. perhaps finding the protege service manual will help. it has wiring diagrams, troubleshooting steps, for electrical, mechanical, and body/accessory related problems. you can search "mazda protege" and "floptical.net" on your search engine of choice and chances are you will yield the service manual.
