    Welcome to CP.

Only you can decide if the turbo route is the correct path to pursue.

The easiest way to accomplish this is to source the complete turbo setup (including the PCM) from the '03 MSP. All the components, with the exception of the intercooler (IC), will fit right on your engine with a minimum of modification. The IC won't fit because the MSP had a smaller radiator in order to allow its fitment, thus you'll have to obtain an aftermarket intercooler on your own.

Keep in mind that the MSP also had a limited slip differential and 2 mm larger diameter front axles, as well as a complete heavy duty suspension and a 215/45-17 wheel/tire combo. Consequently, you will end up with more power but may have some trouble controlling it unless you carry out additional modifications.

    Happy Motoring!

      welcome to the club.

If you've ever driven in a turbocharged car, you wouldn't be asking if it's worth it or not it always is...!

Hey guy thanks a lot for all the information I love getting feed back. Goldstar I understand the difference and thank u for all the derailed explanation. I nodded my p5 to a racing cooler a lot ruined then the stock axels and all that stuff I's already done by the previous owner. He wanted to conniver it to turbo never did. How much am I looking to spend for the turbo set up with the CPU and turbo not talking down pipe. Damkid what's a KL ?

I didn't actually do the KL swap to my P5 but i know the stock mounts were able to be re-used, the stock axles were re-used but the intermediate shaft came from a 96' MX-3, then basically just wiring and if you decide to upgrade the rad (not a bad idea)

For cost, my KL swap in my festiva cost me around $900 including a complete new exhaust.... using a parts car will help with costs a lot
