Cheap and effective 323 Mods Help

    Hello,
I am just wondering about what i should do to improve/increase the performance and possibly the look of my stock '02 323 Protege. I was thinking extractors, pod filter and possibly a sport exhaust but i am trying to keep cost to a minimum.

If you guys had any ideas or suggestions please let me know - im Australian by the way, so Australian websites would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

To keep the costs low I'd go with a header, exhaust and k&n drop in filter. Those pod filters won't give you any more performance, just sound

Could you link me to some cheap yet quality headers? Prefferably in Australia? Oh, and by exhaust, do you mean a full exhaust, or just a muffler?

I've been thinking, i want a turbo. I need ALOT of advice. I have a BONE STOCK 1.8L, so could you get me pointing in the right direction. I need to know what the best turbo manifold would be (if these are mandatory) the right size turbo for this small car, and what kind of exhaust i would need. Also, do i need to get an intercooler? Or can i just run the turbo on low lbs and get away with it...?

you are in australia. cant you just go to a junkyard and get a laser tx3 1.8bpt or 323 gtx motor/turbo setup for cheap? we pay ~$1000 cdn for a gtx longblock/turbo setup here in canada shipped all the way from your end of the world so I bet it wont cost you much at all.
