Seems unlikely to be just a fuse, but you might check them anyway. Probably the switch going bad. in the stalk. Is your wiper control on the right hand stalk near steering wheel? I have a 99 ES, mine is, and can be placed in any of 3 intermittent settings until it is "on" Does yours work at any position of "intermittent" or just when "on". If it is the switch in the stalk the entire stalk is probably sold as a unit. I have not replaced mine, but I have a Ford Escort, with a similar setup, that the wipers quit working on. It did require the whole stalk to be replaced. Wasn't really bad, just upper and lower cover on steering column and a few bots, electrical connection etc. Someone may know how to trouble shoot that switch......Mine will not squirt water onto the windshield, which is also a function of that stalk...I have not been able to figure it out yet. Been way to cold here to play outside much.
Thanks For the reply, I haven't done anything with it yet, due to the weather, but yes it only works on low or high, doesn't work at all on intermediate....Will look into the switch assembly
well mine are all setup to include the rear wiper....
if you put it into your car it wouldn't do anything for the rear wiper, but it will have an adjustment for the variable slow to fast INT speed. as well as the basics
