99-03 323 or Protege should not have a chip key (transponder). Its just a metal blank. Any automotive locksmith, or the dealer, can cut a new key with just his VIN. Should be relatively cheap too. I charge $100 for a metal key by VIN and $150+ for transponder chip keys.Comment
