    it was a joke..the arguement is that the 1.8 revs quicker than the 2.0 and supposedly "catches up down the road" reality is, that is complete crap..turbo a 1.6 or the get the 2.0. cheers -kyle

      We all know the BP revs well, but I've heard Miata guys say they prefer the B6 because it revs even better. Couldn't imagine that, but you never know. BP is where it's at for Proteges. I makes the most power(I've never seen an FS baseline higher than a BP), is the strongest, has the most aftermarket support(thank you Miatas and Escorts), and revs the best. The FS is catching up though. Plenty of turbo kits, but the NA market is still weak. I can see why people would differ in opinion between the FP and FS, since some people like revs, and some people like torque. BP smokes them both though

        I think the B6 has hotter cams than the BP stock. Would that make a difference in "rev-ability"?

          I'm can name almost every Honda engine made but I'm new to Mazda so can someone berak the engine codes down and tell me where to find the engine code of my 2.0 ES.
