Hi everyone,
I posted this question some months ago but got no replies. Didn't follow it up since the problem never re-occured, until this weekend gone.
Again my ABS light came on, and this time I can confirm that I wasn't pressing brakes. I was purposely accellerating from 140 to 160km/h when the ABS light came on. That's right - the accelerator pedal (not the brake pedal) was being depressed when the light came on. The 1st time ot happened I was also accelerating at a similar speed.
The brakes still worked (didn't try engaging ABS though), and after switching off the car for about 45mins, the light went off after I re-started. The brakes still work fine. However, as I normally drive "briskly" and the warning light involves the brakes, I am very worried now as to what the problem may be.
Please, anyone able to shed some light on my ABS light?
Thanks.
