Hey just bumping this up to let the guys who inquired on shipping quotes know that I will have them on Friday. This is the last week of regular classes and the next week is finals so I've been swamped project/papers/etc.

I have not forgotten about any of you.

All rates using FedEX standard delivery, I've rounded up a bit as I didn't have any packing material added so the weights might increase a bit:

        Thegreatelbob:
        $9.50

Escortkid, TTLs with no bolts or hardware:
        $11

        Clean 4WD, knuckles:
        $25

        So who wants it?

Oh and will the stock protege struts work in an MX-3 or are the MX-3 struts different.

The MX-3 has a BG chassis, and the struts will interchange.

            Jho,
I figured as much, but just had to double check.

Keeping my old struts to eventually use with Koni inserts.

Yeah I was like if I give these struts away at some point I'll have to pull off another set and pay for them, might as well keep them.

Will have to wait till next year though and depending on how quickly I find a job and can pay of my loans will really dictate at what rate I can modify the pro.

MX-3 coilovers in case anybody is interested, I like the idea of metal rear strut mounts.

That's good thinking. No down time, just install the inserts into the struts and put the struts in the car. I hear it is a little bit of a project to install the inserts.

What MX-3 coilovers are you going with, and what's this about all metal rear strut mounts?

Oh I'm not going with those coilovers, but just throwing them out there for other folks who might be interested. They would work on the Pro I imagine. The same company that makes those coilovers have metal strut mounts to use with them. The stock rubber strut mounts will flex with stiff springs/struts.

                          Damn, those are nice.

So you don't actually have them, you were just putting them out for anyone who might be interested?

You got it. I do not own then, actually haven't heard of the company before, and I know nothing about them besides what has been posted at mx3.com

                              Gotcha.

You kinda mentioned them vaugely, and I had no idea where you were going with that, lol.

Real coilovers are so nice, but so expensive.

Yeah, but these aren't too bad IIRC the thread said $1300.
