Yeah, I need to get the car in out of the weather - which is now complicated by the fact that it has no wheels. I'll figure something out though. The bar should be pretty easy to fab up though, and I need to build pretty much the same thing as part of converting the Festiva to the EGT rear suspension.

The seatbelt track is there, I'm not sure if it works or not, but it's yours, just PM me.

sorry to hear about the hospital trip man.. i almost ended there last spring with mono but some people from my church took me in and cared for me for a week while i was pretty much completely out of it

you should be able to put festiva wheels on it. you might have to put them on inside out to clear the brakes, but youd be able to roll it that way at least

Nah, I tore the suspension completely off. I'm working on putting the multi-link rear on the Festiva and the front knuckles. It's sitting on extra tires slid under the floorboard right now, will be sitting on the floorboard on the ground once I get the engine out and the other parts stripped.

How much can an empty shell weigh though? I can round up 6 friends to carry it.

yeah, if you removed the doors, hood, hatch, other glass, and seats, i'm sure it wouldnt be too hard to carry with a few guys

I got something like a stomache flu and couldn't keep down fluids, got dehydrated. I've had kidney problems in the past and the Doctors were worried about my kidney function post-dehydration so they kept me in.

I hate hospitals. I missed two weeks of work because some Doctor that is 5 years younger than me wanted to observe my creatinine for 10 days straight.

I had a similar thing a few years back. Bactierial Infection in my stomach. It was the worst , but I was in the hospital for only two days. That stuff sucks! Glad to here yer back in the realm of the living.

someone double parked their car in the first row at my college one time and me and two friends turned it sideways between to other cars and he was stuck for a couple of days... so you shouldn't have trouble moving one that doesn't have anything in it

Yeah, like I said first day that the weather cooperates, I wanna get the car stripped the rest of the way. Monday and Tuesday of next week are supposed to be in the 50s, but even if it just isn't raining or snowing Saturday I plan to get on it.

Now that I have a lead on the intake manifold, I really want to get going on the engine swap too.
