some people wire the harness them selves, some have me wire there stock harness to the megasquirt plug.

If you get the coil add on board to go with individual coil packs, do you need to wire in a new sensor or will it just use the distributor signal to fire?

you can do single fire cop wich is like wasted spark but you have 4 coils and 4 coil drivers in the ms ( several cars oem run like this)

or you can run traditional wasted spark and run to coil drivers and a wasted spark coil like edis or miata coil

both distributor singnal wires are needed for this
