I found out how to beat a Honda! Just about anyway you can think of. Even in reverse. <- my buddy Mike: Haha, your Civic is a pile of vtech crap! Zoom-Zoom!

the auto tranny is a little larger. let me look into it...
When you turn your car on... does it return the favor?

Once said 7 seconds he'd clock.

      With much too much boost,
And drove a rod through his block.

ok the only way the tranny could be in the way of the tie bar is if you are installing the tie bar upside down. the bolt you attach this too is below the crossmember, and i dont think there is a tranny that wraps around the crossmember.

So you're keeping them on over the winter? I guess it shouldn't really matter.

I'm worried about sewers and such though. I've hit things (objects laying on the road that I couldn't avoid but go over) with the crossmember many times. Having this bar protrude another 2" will only leave 3" or so of clearance!

I've had my bar, which is almost identical to the ones Darryl is making, for more than a year now and I've only scraped the ground once. I never go over sewers and things that stick too much off the ground. You can always slow down and go around. What's nice about the bar is that when there's heavy snow you can plow it around the house.
