    BP09 escort GT ecu

    As the title states, I used this in my car for a couple weeks while I waited for my gtx ecu. Works perfect. $20+shipping

          Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between the BP09 ECU and the BP10 ECU?

            basically they are identical
            Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Lbs. @ 23 PSI

                Gotcha. The BP10 I have is out of a Protege GT, but that's neither here nor there I suppose.

                          Well, it has been answered many times and a search will prompt for the correct answer.

                          BP09, only for stick shift.

                          BP10, works on both, 5 speed and automatic

                          The difference is the BP10 has the programming for automatic, but because it is not used on 5 speed when hooked up on a stick shift car it does not use the auto signal.

                          I think I got it right, well its been a while but its something about auto and 5 speed options...

                            Bp10 ecu is out of a protege lx and bp09 is from an escort gt. Both 5spds.
