As far as making anymore goes:
Originally posted by Maz1.8T View PostI mailed my machinist yesterday and he said he was sorry, he promessed the sleeve would be done 2 weeks ago and it didn't happen. So he said he would make 'em this week.
I will get those stupid mounts done but I'm kinda pissed, and I think I just won't repeat the experience. I can never respect any delays and I'm loosing credibility. I just can't go on like that.
Unfortunatly I don't think there will be any more projects like the mounts or the shifter bushings unless I can find a decent machine shop that will not charge me double of what it costs right now. Sad, but I'm fed up with this.

I got mine today too. Took 8 days from Cananda to APO AE here in Darmstad Germany.
One looks great another looks a lil rough, no worries, i will clean it up. It wont be going anywhere soon. I just shelled out $500 for new pistons
ThanksBlock is almost done, cylinders are overboard for Weisco pistons, pro gram billet main caps have been line bored, and my chinese EDT rods have been machined to right specs. Everything has been balanced.

My dad helped me install these tonight.
First off, build quality is poor. The studs on both mounts were too close together, we had to grind out the holes in the cross member. The front mount's sleeve was installed a bit crooked, but we forced it to work.
Now then, once the stupid griding is done and everything is tightened down, my car drives great now. Much better over the stock mounts, which looking at them weren't even cracked, just weak as hell. Shifting, taking off, and engine braking is all much smoother now. Car vibrates just a little(well tune the idle to counter-act this tomarrow). I'm glad I didn't go with the 80A or the crookedness of the sleeve on the front, plus the vibration, would be much worse I'd assume.
So I give em mixed reviews.
Cliffs: Manufacturing defects but nice once installed.

I know the build quality is average cause I did 'em with what I had for tools at home. But I've been using my mounts for over a year now and they work very good and I know they will outlast the car. I just hope you guys will pardon me for the build quality and appreciate 'em for the fact they do the job.
I will understand if some of you want to be refunded. I will gladly take 'em back.

Good luck to the others...the install is the hard part, driving the car afterwards and feeling the awsomeness of the solid mounts is easy and enjoyable.
