ok well... if you're building the car RIGHT NOW, you're not going to get this diff in time... i hope you guys all realise that this isnt gonna be ready like next week...
i will be sending them a stock diff next week. i got the address the other day, and the sample diff is now ready to go.
then they need to take a look at it, make sure that it will be cost effective for them to build, etc.
then they will take deposits
then they will engineer the new diff, and build a sample(s)
the sample will be put through R&D testing
once the design is finalized they will begin production, collect the rest of the money, and start shipping them out
.... just to give you a basic idea. this will be several months down the road. its going to be winter here soon, so doing any testing is going to be pretty impossible until the tracks reopen (April in NH, March in NJ). the current planned test car belongs to someone in my area. if this is going to hold things up significantly (i dont know how long engineering is going to take) then i will try to find someone down south to do the testing.
in the end its going to ensure a better product, and heck it gives you more time to save up haha. a helical lsd is just a tad more complex than say an adjustable cam gear (nice job on that GB btw ryan) which doesnt really require much testing as long as the dimensions are correct.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. it should be about $80, i'll post a scanned copy of the reciept once it has shipped. i'll PM you my paypal address, of course a 5 spot will help . at least 5 bucks from everyone should nearly cover it in full, which would be great.
we're sending them one ring gear, one 28 spline diff, and one 26 spline diff. we'll see what they can do for creating a 26 spline option, but the main goal here is to design and build the diff in 28 spline.
