there are no 26 spline axles that would fit the test car
i'm not sure i'd want to try and make a 10 second pass with worn out axles either LOL

I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.
I'll see what I can do... you may recall my other forum was dragging its feet on this project to begin with, but I'll hit up some of the locals offline and see what we can do.
Thanks!

I might switch mine to 26 spline since it is moving pretty quickly. Autozone offers lifetime warranty axles for like $150 for the set, so I'll just have to keep replacing axles.
i havent had any issues breaking GSP brand axles from advance, also lifetime warranty

320whp 325wtq, launching at 7k on drag radials. Slicks are actually easier on the drivetrain than drag radials in some ways because they absorb the shock of launching/shifts better. Shock loads are what breaks axles, not engine torque. You can snap an axle with a stock engine.
like i said, the 28 spline is 90% identical to the 26, so as long as we get 10 people eventually it shouldnt be a big deal.

preload before you launch or start your burnout. the only time i ever broke an axle was during my 2nd burnout ever on drag radials... forgot to preload and it popped the axle immediately. ive since done probably 100 burnouts and launches on drag radials, some of the burnouts in 2nd gear, with no issues.

that's us just finished with SEMA, so should be online more often to check my PM's now
We should have enough of the 26 splines now, so we will start on that one asap.
For the 28 spline, the reason why there are only 2 people that have paid is because everyone seems to be waiting to see if there will be enough numbers for it to go ahead. If it goes on like this, you will never see more than 2! lol. From the number of pm's I've received, it is safe to say the 28 spline will proceed, so get those deposits in
