Yeah I don't remember exactly, but I think the deal is that Jon is going to test fit them and send the 28-spline prototype out to Dan, who will beat the **** out of it on the track. When he and MFactory are satisfied with the testing of the prototype, they can start production. At some point in there, we'll have to make the final payments. So relax, you've got a bit.

For the record- I was trying to get you to do a little work instead of being the guy that posts asking a question that has already been asked and answered elsewhere in the thread, because there is other useful information in here as well.

I am sure you were, and for the record I did skim through the cliff notes of the post. I new the just of what you said above I was just wondering if I missed something, and if there was a tentative turn around time of the LSD was....

AFAIK there is no date, tentative or not. "When it's done," which is really how it should be for something like this- no sense rushing product development and getting an inferior product.

By all means i agree, usually the way this works is they give you a tentative date from when prototypes are confirmed and production has begun.... this way you can track the forums, and have an idea of when you need the money...

but talking to you has made it so worth posting the question...

yah, sorry, I would say that I would, but I truely have no intension of reading 44 pages of post, when 95+% of it is people post stuff that is worthless to the over-all thread....

To answer your question as best as i can, i asked Stephen what kind of delivery time we're looking at. This is the best answer i can give you:

Once Dan and MFactory agree that the testing is sufficient, it should take roughly a month to go from Dan's "OK" to shipment.

Now the amount of time between now and then depends on several things...
*Assuming* that I have no issues with fitment (which I shouldn’t)
*Assuming* that Dan doesn’t have any issues with functionality/failure (which he shouldn’t)
...it shouldn’t take too long. Maybe a month to two months at most? It's kind of hard to say. Now if either of us run into any issues there will need to be revisions made to the prototypes, more testing done, etc. I'm not trying to drag this out to annoy anyone. The reality is that it's a brand new product, and selling it to you guys without sufficient testing wouldn't be a good idea.
