so how much will this actually cost? I know the deposit is 50% but I don't know of what exactly. Is there a price ceiling on this? any luck coming up with some ring gear bolts? "IF" they can be reproduced, do you have a rough idea what they may sell for? Will they be included? I'm interested in one for myself but would like to have an "it won't be anymore than $XXX with everything you need" number first.

Another thing... is there any reason the new diff can't be made to just accept a plain old bolt instead of having to deal with this super specific, hard to find $150 "fastener" kit? If it's an all new design then it shouldn't be a big deal. Heck even if it's a regurgitated honda design it wouldn't be anymore than putting the holes in different places (I know it's not).

I agree, $150 for a bolt kit? Why not make them like Guru Motorsports H-type Torsens, no bolt kit necessary -

exactly what I had in mind. A thicker flange, drilled, tapped, and scalloped in between the holes. That would make life easier

i dont know if there will be room to do the fasteners like this, but i'm sure mfactory could look into it... it would make life cheaper/easier.

I think utilizing a bolt setup would give you more clearance as far as the shift gate is concerned since the threads will come up right to the back of the ring gear as opposed to having the un-threaded section of the diff between the nut and the ring gear. Not sure how any of that would affect strength or any of that jazz, but I'm sure it would fit.

If this can be done for under $700 soup to nuts and you need one more buyer to get the ball rolling, count me in.

It would make life cheaper/easier, but i bet its going to cost more to make if it was made like this. But if its less than $150 more, then its well worth it.

i cant imagine it'd cost much more. its all machined from a blank billet anyway... thicker flange just means less needs to be cut down . and tapping the holes shouldnt be much more than a little extra code for the cnc

we'll see what mfactory says :D

Can you also ask MFactory if these are being made in Australia?
