I did some research, and found this:

warranty info here:
i believe Dan's problem had more to do with the install than anything else. i sent the diff to him with brand new bearings (napa bearings yes, but they fit just fine when i tested things), but the installer did not use the new bearing races. they left the OEM races in the transmission and didnt re-shim, which could have caused bearing play problems.Last edited by therieldeal; 06-03-2009, 01:54 PM.Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft.
