i just wanted to throw this out there as it may ease the minds of anyone who is still concerned:
i pulled my black car apart yesterday to remove the Quaife. before i pulled the drivers side axle out i checked how much axial play it had... it looks like the Quaife had just as much play as the original MFactory sample diff.
I never experienced any abnormal sounds, vibrations, etc with the Quaife in the car. I think the problems Dan had were more related to the installation than to the diff itself (bearing preload was not checked/set, probably set too loose).Escort GTR -- 11.87 @ 117.6 mph -- 320 HP / 325 Ft. Okay guys, LSD's should be coming off the production line sometime next week.
