If someone want's to ship me a mx-3 front crossmember I'll make a bunch of them for those guys---no problem!!!

The tab's would be just about $15 to $20 more for the skidplate---here's the front brace that we are just finishing today for Ajax's rallycar---with tabs for the skidplate-These are gonna be about $150 plus tax/shipping after building a couple of them...

i need to bolt up my V6 exhaust before i order one, to check for clearance, but i want one with gussets.

I dont see the material type listed in the first post so ill ask. is it mild steel? I wanna know if i should spring now for the tabs or weld them on later with my mig when i pan the bottom.

It's built out of DOM seamless, quite a bit stronger than the mild steel...I can sell you the 4 tabs if you like and you can always position them later!

As a matter of fact it is, I just finished these pieces this morning for a potential rally guy up in WA (gig harbor) and they're shipping out today! I'll PM you about the cost/sign up in a few minutes. Little different design on the front brace deleting the hooks which were useless anyways with the brace installed...

Another 4 point brace with skidplate brace for a rallycar, a little different design that delete's the tow hooks---I've built about 10-15 of these now---they've gotten pretty good feedback from the people that drive hard!

                    so um...

that skidplate brace would be perfect as an attachment point for traction bars...

Oh your funny...I'll have to check the height of the bar and see if it lines up with the front a-arm pivot bolt---if it does then we'll "discuss" it further!

Ok---so it lines up perfectly with the a-arm pivot bolts---the only challenge I can see with mounting the traction bars off of it is that it is really far forward. The traction arm would severly limit turning radius if you ran it from the pivot axis...of course you could bend the traction arm around the tire at full lock...I had an SRT4 here the other day (and should have it back Friday) that had a traction bar setup, but it didn't pivot off the a-arm axis---it was way inboard---I wonder if it binds a bunch and how they got around that? If it shows up I'll post a pic---crazy car, 670whp, carbon fiber everything---a time attack car that I drive occasionally for the owner in the redline events...

Hadn't planned on making any---actually passed on the idea a while ago---however he's right (Jon)---that front bar would make a great place to mount them...I do plan on making some tubular lower control arms and a front through body swaybar kit somewhere down the road...I'm always open to suggestions for new ideas/products to build!

tubular LCA's would be golden, add good spherical bearings
having trouble visualizing the swaybar kit your talking about tho

I think he means that it can be adjusted from the cockpit by the driver. But I dunno, I could be completely wrong. I'm totally looking forward to the LCA's, too!
