OK everyone. do not buy an e58 levin lsd as it will not fit. they also have different gears in them.. so you can only essentially use the shafts
one on left is 4 spider camry diff and one on right is Levin viscous LSD.
so what LSD will fit? the 3SGTE MR2 one? and is there a difference between that and the 3SGE model?

The MR2 LSD may fit, but it's not worth the hassle. It'd be cheaper and easier to just find an LSD MR2 tranny than it would be to grab a Camry/Solara E153 and then pay/or install yourself a 15 year old mediocre worn out factory LSD.
The LSD in the MR2 is nothing special. I would suggest a Camry/Solara tranny with an aftermarket LSD. There's a couple companies out there that make them, and they are reasonably priced.

Hey I have recently done this conversion and having some issues. My clutch plates stripped the splines. So I have been told that my adaptor plate is possibly not aligned properly. I was curious if I could get some accurate measurements of the gearbox pattern and of the engine Bolt pattern to check my plate? I need the holes relative to a centre point to check the alignment.
