is there going to be a plate on top and bottom? I'm envisioning a dimple-died plate on both top and bottom, with an area on the top that's either got the hole for the escort type biscuit-sandwich type endlinks, or the tab on top for the mx3 droplink type.

The dimpled plate is only on the rally version and just the top---the offroad version has a thicker wall and is crazy over the top strong---wouldn't even need the plate, but I like it and it does add a bit of strength. The "roadrace" version has the tab with three holes, and the "street" version has the oem style hole. The street/roadrace version will be in the group buy---the rally version would be ordered separately as it's a bit of work to make the plate etc...

I would definitely love to have a set however, like most I am terminally strapped for cash. Has a more accurate estimate of cost been determined yet? What would be the timeline for production and delivery?

Other question...how is the fit of the front spherical joint with the misalignment spacers in the subframe? Are additional spacers required to center it in the pocket?

I know it's a tough time for everyone with finances now---I designed/built these with budget in mind without sacrificing strength/quality and tried to make them pleasing to the eye as well...The front joint actually is offset to help angle/articulation in the pocket and they'll be a stainless spacer next to the misalignment to make up the gap. I'd say by the end of the day I'd have the arm in a car to re-check fit everything/alignment/swaybar stuff etc...so we'll have a cost later today and once we get 5 deposits, I'll start ordering parts.

The machine work will take about a week to get the pins made/threaded, and by then the rodends/jamnuts/threaded inserts/misalignment spacers/stainless spacers/plate and tube materials should arrive. Depending on how busy the shop is, we should be able to kick out a pair every other day or so. We'll get individual shipping prices and then they'll ship out. I've got a few weeks of downtime between races/projects to work on the BG stuff---after April 14th things get a bit busier (I Hope!).

Hey Guys---got it in the car---pretty good fit for a prototype! I need to move the swaybar hole a 1/4" for a better angle, but it works pretty well now. The 1" tube has some interference on the subframe---minimal, but I'll move the tube back (by the pin) a 1/4" or so. Everything looks great/I'm excited---this is pretty cool stuff!!!

Hey I was reading up on your control arms and was curious if there might be a possibility of making a set that could mount to an mx3 however the ball joint would need to mate to a Millenia. Is that possible?

its possible i bet. The mx3 control arms are nearly identical to the escort/protege/323 arms but just a tad longer. If you can get jim the specs on the millenia ball joint bolts im sure he could drill the plate for them

Its not so much just drilling it from what Ive read but the fact that they sit on an angle. If its possible it could open up an easy route to 2piston brakes for us mx-3 owners. Ill see what I can do to get specs, ty for the quick reply!
